As depicted on the front cover, Ferro-Union manufactures 4 styles of through-fastened panels…J-Rib, Deep (7/8") Corrugation, Maxi Rib and Standard (1/2") Corrugation. All profiles are considered structural panels, meaning they do not require solid sheeting for support. Their individual spanning capabilities are dependent upon the type and grade of material used to form the panels as well as the rib height & Shape (see solid sheeting is desired a minimum thickness of 3/4" is required unless additional battens are employed. All of our panels may be used as siding, facia, or soffits.

Our customers can select from our standard stocking materials and finishes or have materials and finishes custom tailored if minimum quantities are met.

Normally stocked are .032 aluminum and 26 or 24 gauge steel with the protective zinc-aluminum (AZ50) coating. These materials are also available with a factory applied exterior color finish.

Custom materials include (but are not limited to) stainless steel, galvanized steel and aluminum alloys. Custom color finishes include Kynar 500 (fluoropolymer) and multi-mil thickness paint systems. If we are consulted during the design phase we can help determine the optimum surface treatment necessary to meet the project requirements.
